II. Celebrating 20 Years of CCRPA and Building a Platform Across the Real Estate Value Chain

CCRPA President Steven Sun said that 2026 marks both the association’s 20th anniversary and the eighth edition of the CCRPA Real Estate & Home Expo. Over the past two decades, CCRPA has continued to grow, integrate industry resources, foster cooperation among members, and strengthen its ties with government agencies, industry associations and the wider community.

Sun explained that the expo focuses on real estate transactions, development, construction, investment, renovation and home improvement. Through exhibitions, professional forums, project discussions and business matchmaking, it encourages industry exchange and cooperation and helps the public better understand the property market, investment and development, and home-related industries. The expo offers a comprehensive business platform for real estate agents, developers, financial and investment institutions, home retailers, suppliers and professional service providers. By showcasing the diversity of the real estate and home industry value chain, it also helps companies find partners, expand business networks and identify market opportunities.

Against a backdrop of economic challenges and ongoing adjustments in the real estate market, this year’s expo held particular significance. Acting as a bridge between sectors, CCRPA partnered with 13 fellow chambers of commerce and industry organizations to co-organize the event and bring groups of exhibitors together. Through cross-industry collaboration and resource sharing, the organizers hope to bring renewed vitality to the real estate industry and the Chinese Canadian community economy, while creating more opportunities for exchange and cooperation.

Many chambers participated alongside their member companies, broadening the expo’s industry reach and capacity to connect resources. Their involvement promoted cross-sector exchange in real estate, construction, finance, investment, renovation and home furnishings, demonstrating the power of unity and cooperation.

Through product displays, business networking and professional presentations, exhibitors were able to introduce their products and services, learn about industry trends, expand their networks and explore potential partnerships. The expo also offered the public a convenient way to learn about the property market, home products and related professional services.

IV. Looking Ahead to 2027: Real Estate Summit Shares Expert Insights on Market Trends

Following the opening ceremony, the organizers held a Real Estate Summit in the afternoon. Under the themes of ‘AI and Real Estate, Senior Housing, Economic Analysis, Real Estate Forecasts and the Rental Market,’ experienced Canadian real estate professionals and experts from related fields shared their market observations and expertise with the audience.

The forum explored economic trends, the outlook for the real estate market and related professional topics, helping attendees understand market changes, stay informed about industry developments and broaden their perspectives. Through face-to-face discussions, participants gained insights from frontline industry professionals and built connections with experts in real estate and finance, encouraging information sharing and professional collaboration.
