CCRPA 20th Anniversary Awards Charity Gala 2026 Concludes Successfully
The Canada-China Realty Professional Association (CCRPA) proudly celebrated the successful conclusion of its 20th Anniversary Awards Charity Gala 2026, held on April 12, 2026, at the Hilton Markham Suites Conference Centre in the Greater Toronto Area.
Recognized as one of the largest and most influential annual gatherings within the Chinese Canadian business community, the CCRPA Awards Charity Gala is widely regarded as the “Oscars” of the real estate and business sectors.
Marking this significant 20-year milestone, the gala—supported by more than 160 sponsors—welcomed approximately 1,000 distinguished guests, reaching full venue capacity. Attendees included realtors, developers, builders, investors, financial experts, real estate service providers, business leaders, government officials, and community representatives.
A highlight of the evening was its strong philanthropic impact. The event successfully raised CAD $120,000.00, bringing CCRPA’s total contributions to the Yee Hong Senior Community to an impressive CAD $920,000.00 over the past four years.
The evening featured a dynamic and engaging program, including a high-level real estate industry forum, business networking reception, prestigious awards presentations, charitable fundraising initiatives, birthday celebration and vibrant cultural performances.The gala was proudly presented by Kweichow Moutai as the Title Sponsor, with co-chair sponsorship support from five major organizations: TD Bank, ICBC Bank (Canada), CIBC Bank, Yee Hong Foundation, and Foxwood Development Group.

The evening commenced with a spectacular and memorable opening. Accompanied by the solemn and stirring melodies of a Scottish bagpipe band, CCRPA’s Board of Directors—led by President Steven Sun—made a distinguished red-carpet entrance in formal attire.
Nearly one hundred board directors gathered for this moment, creating an atmosphere filled with energy, pride, and celebration. Their unified presence vividly showcased CCRPA’s strong cohesion and underscored its far-reaching influence within the industry.

Two Decades of Perseverance, Establishing an Industry Benchmark
In his keynote address, Steven Sun, President of the Canada-China Realty Professional Association (CCRPA), highlighted that in celebration of CCRPA’s 20th anniversary, the Association hosted this charity awards gala to recognize outstanding industry professionals, inspire continued excellence, and advance its commitment to contributing CAD $1 million in support of community initiatives.
Steven Sun emphasized that since its founding in 2006, CCRPA has consistently upheld its core values of mutual respect, inclusiveness, fair competition, and shared development. Over the years, CCRPA has built a high-quality platform that fosters collaboration and growth across the real estate sector and its related industries.
Over the past two decades, the Association has expanded to include more than 500 corporate members and over 16,000 individual professionals. Its membership spans a broad spectrum of the industry, including realtors, developers, builders, investors, construction trades, architects and designers, financial and mortgage specialists, inspectors, appraisers, insurance agents, legal and accounting professionals, home stagers, and suppliers. Through this growth, CCRPA has firmly established itself as one of Canada’s most influential industry organizations.
The CCRPA Charity Awards Gala has evolved into one of the largest and most prominent annual events within the Chinese Canadian community. This year’s gala brought together hundreds of real estate brokerages and firms from across the Greater Toronto Area, along with one thousand industry professionals. While celebrating excellence within the industry, the event also demonstrated a strong commitment to social responsibility by raising funds for the senior communities—delivering care, support, and meaningful impact.

In a memorable highlight of the evening, President Steven Sun, together with the distinguished guests, took the stage for the ceremonial cake-cutting. As the lights converged on the stage and applause filled the room, the moment unfolded in a warm yet dignified atmosphere. Guests joined in unison to offer their heartfelt wishes: Happy 20th Anniversary to CCRPA.
This symbolic celebration honored the remarkable achievements and legacy built over the past two decades, while also marking the beginning of an exciting and promising future. Following the ceremony, 30 Executive Directors joined distinguished guests on stage for a celebratory toast, expressing sincere appreciation to sponsors and supporters across the community for their steadfast support of CCRPA throughout the years.

As a central highlight of the evening, CCRPA led a major fundraising initiative in support of the Yee Hong Senior Community, underscoring the organization’s deep-rooted commitment to social responsibility and philanthropy.

As familiar melodies filled the room, a large screen displayed then-and-now photographs of board members spanning the past 20 years, alongside treasured archival footage capturing the Association’s milestones and development.
Through this seamless blend of music and imagery, guests were invited to reflect on CCRPA’s remarkable journey—while expressing heartfelt appreciation for those who have contributed behind the scenes and stood united throughout the years.
The dance performance “Go West”, combined with a thoughtfully designed interactive segment, brought the atmosphere to an exciting peak, drawing continuous applause and enthusiastic cheers from the audience. Frank Scarpitti, Mayor of the City of Markham, joined councillors, distinguished guests, and CCRPA board members on stage, engaging actively with the audience. In that moment, the boundary between stage and audience dissolved, transforming the entire venue into a lively, immersive celebration—vividly showcasing CCRPA’s energy, unity, and strong sense of community.
Forum and Grand Prize Lucky Draw: A Dynamic and Engaging Program
Throughout the evening, an exciting series of lucky draws added energy and anticipation to the gala atmosphere. With a total prize value of nearly CAD $30,000.00, a diverse selection of prizes was awarded, creating continuous moments of excitement and concluding the event on a joyful and memorable note.
In addition, 36 developers and builders participated in and supported the gala in various capacities, further underscoring the strong engagement and collective backing from across the real estate industry.
Earlier in the afternoon, a Housing Market and Economic Forum, proudly sponsored by Alpha Choice Insurance, featured in-depth discussions on two key topics/themes: “Insurance Risk Management in Real Estate Investment” and “Real Estate Market: Opportunities, Risks, and Future Trends.”
